11:21 P.M. GAME-WINNER! --
Watch Mark Letestu's game-winning power-play goal tonight at Dallas:
10:53 P.M. -- MID PERIOD UPDATE: Just three seconds into the Blue Jackets' fourth PP chance of the night, Mark Letestu uncorked a wicked slapper from the right point to give Columbus its second lead. A clean face-off win from Brandon Dubinsky made it happen.
Someone wants to dance...
THIS IS IT -- LET'S GO JACKETS! (3rd Period)
10:16 P.M. -- SECOND PERIOD ANALYSIS: Another gear there from the Stars in the second period, and the scoreboard shows it. We're all tied up 1-1 after 40 minutes at American Airlines Center and the home team really put the pressure on in the middle stanza. The tying goal was a nicely-orchestrated play off the rush on the PP, as Erik Cole fed the puck into the slot and Loui Eriksson re-directed it right to Jamie Benn, who tapped it behind Bobrovsky. The intermission is probably a welcomed sight for Todd Richards and crew right now, as the time to re-group and get back to their style of hockey is in the third period.
9:56 P.M. -- MID PERIOD UPDATE: Jamie Benn scored a PPG off the rush to bring the Stars even about midway through the second period. A couple of chances the other way for the Blue Jackets but Lehtonen has been tremendous in goal for the Stars.
9:30 P.M. -- The battle continues in the second. LET'S GO JACKETS!!!
9:24 P.M. ATKINSON GOAL HIGHLIGHT --
Watch Cam Atkinson's goal just 19 seconds into tonight's game:
9:20 P.M. -- FIRST PERIOD ANALYSIS: Mission accomplished in the opening 20 minutes for the Blue Jackets, who started pretty much how you'd like to with an early 1-0 lead off the stick of Cam Atkinson. Columbus' forecheck was established right off the bat, with all four lines getting involved and Dalton Prout throwing down with Eric Nystrom after a big open-ice hit on RJ Umberger. The Blue Jackets were 0-for-2 on the power play in the first period, with their best chance (which went by the wayside) being a Marian Gaborik breakaway that was denied by Lehtonen.
9:00 P.M. -- MID PERIOD UPDATE: Cam Atkinson's goal has the Blue Jackets ahead 1-0 in the early stages of the game. The Jackets have had no issues with energy or jump so far as the team carrying the play to this point.

4:50 P.M. -- RESILIENCY KEY TO SUCCESS:
One of the most entertaining aspects of this Blue Jackets playoff run has been how they've stood up to every challenge and found ways to persevere. Injuries, poor starts, bad breaks...nothing has been able to knock them off course.
Staci Pawlak has a nice look at how the Jackets have been able to do it.READ THE FULL STORY HERE
4:30 P.M. -- STARS LINEUP: Dallas will not have rookie forward Alex Chiasson available tonight as he's still recovering from a shoulder injury, but they've got their X-factor between the pipes and his name is Kari Lehtonen. The big Finn loves playing against the Blue Jackets and he gets another crack at them tonight.
Here's the complete Stars lineup...

1:53 P.M. -- Have you read today's GAME DAY preview, yet?
The saying goes that "everything is bigger in Texas," which could only mean Thursday's game between the Blue Jackets and Stars is nothing short of mastadonic.
With two games left in the NHL regular season, the two teams are separated by three points in the standings and it presents a huge swing-game opportunity for both sides. If the Blue Jackets can win their seventh road game in their last nine outings away from Nationwide Arena, they would create mathematically insurmountable separation between themselves and Dallas and move one step closer to clinching their second playoff berth in franchise history.

8:30 A.M. -- NHL CSS PRE DRAFT RANKINGS: In case you've done something crazy like get wrapped up in this playoff race, the annual NHL Draft preparation may not have appeared on your radar. If not, that's cool because this postseason stuff is way more fun.
That guy in the picture above? His name is Seth Jones, and he's really good at this hockey thing. He's 18 years old, plays for the WHL's Portland Winterhawks (the junior club of Ryan Johansen and Brandon Dubinsky, which makes him automatically awesome) and won the gold medal with Team USA at the 2013 World Junior championship.
Most scouts and draft experts think this kid is a sure-fire bet to go No. 1 overall at the draft in June.
Oh, and his dad (Popeye Jones) played in the NBA. That's pretty sweet.
In the meantime, Rob Mixer is here to get you caught up on NHL Central Scouting's recently-released pre-draft rankings for 2013, complete with the top North American and European skaters and goaltenders featured in this year's draft class - in which the Blue Jackets have three (3) first-round picks.

7:30 A.M. -- CAMSANITY/BIEBS/ETC: Kate Osborne wants to help Jackets fans get to know the players on and off the ice a little better, so she's been taking some time to hang out with the guys and find out what they like to eat, listen to, and do in their free time at home and on the road.
Check out this latest "Get to Know" episode with the man himself, Mr. Cameron J. Atkinson (the middle initial is made up, but it sounds cool):
6:30 A.M. -- HELLLLLLLO, THURSDAY! Raise your hand if you didn't need any additional motivation to get out of bed this morning. (waits patiently)
Alright, so looks like that was just me. I won't hold it against any of you.
In case you hadn't heard, the Blue Jackets have quite a hockey game on tap tonight in Dallas. They're only three points ahead of the Stars entering tonight's game at American Airlines Center and each club has two games remaining, including tonight. Needless to say, this is one of those big-time "swing" games that will greatly help the winner in its quest for the postseason.
Per usual, we'll have all the latest game day happenings right here on the appropriately-named game day blog. Stay tuned for lineup news from both the Jackets and Stars, starting goaltenders, photos, video interviews from our pals at Jackets TV and much more.
Say it with me: let's go Jackets.
