A Garden classic
In Sergei Bobrovsky’s return from injury, the Blue Jackets marched into Madison Square Garden on Jan. 6 and stole a point from the Rangers in a shootout. The Jackets had a 3-1 lead after a goal by James Wisniewski with 3:13 remaining in the second period, but the Rangers tied the game less than five minutes into the third. The game went to overtime, and then on to a shootout. The shootout only took two shots by the Blue Jackets, as Mark Letestu and Ryan Johansen found the back of the net and secured the victory. Bobrovsky turned away 40 shots, and two shootout attempts, in the win.
