COLUMBUS, OHIO - In anticipation of continued frigid temperatures around Friday night's Blue Jackets game against the New Jersey Devils at Nationwide Arena, the team announced extra measures to help keep fans out of the cold. Doors will open as usual at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game, however, early arriving fans looking to escape the elements may wait in an area immediately inside the doors at both main entrances as early as 5:15 p.m.
In addition, fans that plan to stand in line for the $10 Huntington Green Seats which go on sale at 5 p.m., and students looking to purchase Rush CBJ tickets which go on sale at 6 p.m., will find lines redirected inside the arena rather than stretching around the McConnell St. plaza.
Friday's game is FOX Sports Ohio White Out T-shirt Night where all fans in attendance will receive a special "White Out Night" T-shirt, courtesy of FOX Sports Ohio and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Fans are encouraged to wear the T-shirts at the game to "white out" the New Jersey Devils.
Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
