Crunch 2008 Calder Cup Playoff Coverage

by Staff Writer / Columbus Blue Jackets
The 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs open this week and the Blue Jackets' American Hockey League affiliate Syracuse Crunch enters the second season on an unbelievable run. The Crunch closed the regular season winning 15-straight games, went 20-0-3 in their final 23 games and has not lost a game in regulation since Feb. 18 vs. Lake Erie.

Syracuse finished the season with 100 points -- the second-most in franchise history -- and with a win on the final day of the regular season, clinched the #2 seed in the Western Conference North Division semifinals.

The series begins Friday with the Crunch hosting the Manitoba Moose. Below is complete coverage of the AHL playoffs, including Crunch radio voice Bob McElligott's "Bobby Mac's Crunch Attack" Blog that will debut soon, coverage, coverage, links to the live radio broadcasts of the games and links to the b2 Network live coverage of the games.
