COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will conduct development camp for 24 prospects from Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3 at the Dispatch Ice Haus. The development camp will begin with medicals and fitness testing as well as an on-ice session Monday before three days of on and off-ice workouts commence on Tuesday. Additional players may be invited to the camp following the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, which will be held June 26-27 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

On-ice workouts, which are open to the public, will be held from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. on Monday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. All on-ice times are subject to change. Conducting the on-ice elements of the camp will be Blue Jackets Head Coach Ken Hitchcock, Assistant Coach Claude Noel and Development Coach Tyler Wright.
Among the 24 players currently scheduled to participate are 14 players who have been selected by the Blue Jackets in the NHL Entry Draft, including eight players who were drafted in the 2008 Entry Draft – D Cody Goloubef (second round), D Steven Delisle (fourth round) D Drew Olson (fourth round), LW Matt Calvert (fifth round), C/RW Tomas Kubalik (fifth round), D Brent Regner (fifth round), RW Cam Atkinson (sixth round) and LW Sean Collins (seventh round).
