Columbus Blue Jackets, Tim Hortons Bring Back Stinger Donut

COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Columbus Blue Jackets and Tim Hortons announced January 25 the return of the Stinger Donut, a specially-themed vanilla dip donut decorated with blue, red and Stinger-green sprinkles. The Stinger Donut is now available in all central Ohio Tim Hortons restaurants through the end of the Blue Jackets current season. Fans can meet Stinger and try the specialty donut next week at the following Tim Hortons restaurants:

Tim Hortons guests will also notice new Blue Jackets coffee cups in stores in early February. The co-branded cups promote the Tim Hortons Jackets Pack, a special offer for all Friday home games that includes one upper bowl ticket, $10 food/beverage voucher, a Blue Jackets hat, a Blue Jackets-Tim Hortons travel mug with voucher redeemable for a free coffee fill-up at participating Tim Hortons restaurants and a voucher for Timbits 10-count Snack Pack. Starting at $30 per person, the Tim Hortons Jackets Pack represents a savings of $29.

Tim Hortons, a team partner since the 2000-01 inaugural season, is the exclusive official coffee and baked goods provider of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Fans attending Blue Jackets home games can stop by one of three Tim Hortons-branded outlets at Nationwide Arena where menu items include Tim Hortons signature coffee (plus decaffeinated), hot chocolate and specialty offerings such as iced cappuccino, and French vanilla cappuccino. The stands also feature a selection of baked goods including donuts, muffins and Tim Hortons Signature Timbits.

In addition, the Blue Jackets and Tim Hortons remind fans to celebrate a Jackets victory at home with the “Jackets Win, You Win” promotion. The day following a win at Nationwide Arena, fans may show their game ticket at participating central Ohio Tim Hortons restaurants to receive one free large coffee.

The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Anaheim Ducks at 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio begins with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Wheeling Island Hotel & Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network, including CD101 at 102.5 FM, and online at BlueJackets.com.

Single-game tickets for Blue Jackets home games, starting at $22, are on sale at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line Team Store at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, ticket outlets at the Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.
