COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced July 8 that the National Hockey League franchise has renewed its corporate partnership with Sunshine Vacations through the summer of 2010. The Dublin, Ohio-based travel company has been affiliated with the Blue Jackets and Nationwide Arena since the 2003-04 season.
The primary element of the agreement is the opportunity for Sunshine Vacations to host a kiosk at Nationwide Arena during hockey games and select special events as a vehicle to promote their vacation packages.
During the 2008-09 NHL season, Sunshine Vacations expanded its partnership with the team by launching a pair of interactive fan promotions that offered unique Blue Jackets experiences and a contest to win a suite for a special event at Nationwide Arena.
Sunshine Vacations is a travel company offering great vacations at wholesale prices. Ohio businessman and community leader David Wise began the business in 2000 with the goal of providing families with affordable quality vacations. Sunshine Vacations offers its clients the opportunity to vacation in many popular resort areas, where the company and its partners own, lease, or otherwise have access to resort accommodations.
Season tickets for the 2009-10 season are on sale now with prices starting at $18 per game. In addition, 10- and 20-game packages for 2009-10 are also on sale. For information, call (800) NHL-COLS or visit BlueJackets.com.
