COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced September 22 that the National Hockey League franchise has renewed its corporate partnership with Stanley Steemer, a partner since the 2000-01 inaugural season. The agreement designates the central Ohio-based company as the official carpet cleaner of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The primary elements of the partnership include exclusive branding of one of the team's two Zamboni ice resurfacing machines, dasherboard signage and promotional activities during select games.
Based in Dublin, Ohio, Stanley Steemer International, Inc. has become the leading name in the residential carpet cleaning industry and is poised to extend that position to other industries as well. In Columbus, Ohio the company also offers tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, hardwood refinishing and cleaning, new flooring sales, and emergency water damage restoration services.
The Blue Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Minnesota Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101.
