Blue Jackets to face Penguins twice on Sunday

Get ready for some hockey!
Well, a lot of hockey.
Columbus will play its first two exhibition games of the season Sunday, hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Nationwide Arena opener at 7 p.m. after taking on the division rival in the Steel City at 1 p.m.
All games will be streamed on BlueJackets.com and the CBJ app as well as broadcast on 97.1 The Fan.

Johnny Gaudreau and Patrik Laine highlight the roster for the evening home game, which features a much more experienced feel as 15 of the 20 players have NHL experience. Top defenseman Zach Werenski, highly touted rookie Kent Johnson and goalie Elvis Merzlikins are also on the roster for the game in Nationwide Arena.
The roster for the game at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh trends younger and will be led by the Cleveland Monsters staff. While there are some CBJ regulars like Jack Roslovic and Jake Bean, 2022 first-round draft picks David Jiricek and Denton Mateychuk will play in the Steel City as well as veteran PTO signees James Neal, Victor Rask and Ben Harpur.
