COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced September 30 that the National Hockey League franchise has renewed its corporate partnership with Sugardale Foods, Inc., a team partner since the 2002-03 season. The agreement designates Sugardale as the club's official hot dog provider.
Elements of the partnership include in-arena signage on the Blue Jackets home bench, an auxiliary scoreboard sign and dasherboards at the suburban Chiller Ice Rinks. In addition, Sugardale Dollar Hot Dog Nights return during Blue Jackets home games on Oct. 28 vs. Phoenix and Feb. 10 vs. San Jose. Sugardale is also included in the Dispatch Family Pack offer which features a Sugardale hot dog along with a game ticket, popcorn, Pepsi and Dispatch Ice Haus skate pass for just $25 per person. Another Sugardale product offered at Nationwide Arena concession stands during games is a fried bologna sandwich.

The Blue Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Minnesota Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101.
