COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that the National Hockey League franchise has renewed its corporate partnership with Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack. The West Virginia gaming and entertainment complex has been a team partner since the 2007-08 season.
The partnership gives Wheeling Island name entitlement of the Blue Jackets “Wheeling Island Hotel and Casino Radio Network” and broadcast inventory during Blue Jackets telecasts on FOX Sports Ohio. Other components of the agreement call for in-arena signage and video messaging.
Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack offers 37 table games, 12-table poker room, 1,800 slot machines, 151-room luxury hotel, live greyhound racing, five restaurants, 1,000-seat showroom, meeting and banquet services and gift shop.
