Columbus Blue Jackets Renew Corporate Partnership with AAA Ohio

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that AAA Ohio has signed a multi-year deal to renew its corporate partnership with the hockey club. AAA Ohio has been affiliated with the Blue Jackets since the 2003-04 season.

The enhanced partnership is highlighted by name entitlement to the AAA Sky Terrace, the spacious private area located at the top level of the arena's west end. During games and select special events, the AAA Sky Terrace offers a bird's-eye view of the ice and features fixed seating for 250 with reception space for up to 1,000.

“We’re thrilled that our enhanced partnership, which features the branding of the AAA Sky Terrace, enables us to further elevate the presence of AAA Ohio within Nationwide Arena,” said Paul D’Aiuto, Columbus Blue Jackets Vice-President of Corporate Development.

"We're looking forward to a great year of hockey, and sponsoring the AAA Sky Terrace is a great way to support the team and give fans a special way to experience the games," said Kent Rambo, Vice President of Marketing for AAA Ohio Auto Club.

Other elements of the integrated partnership include signage within and around the AAA Sky Terrace; kiosk presence in the AAA Sky Terrace and on the main concourse for all Blue Jackets home games; in-game, on-ice promotional opportunity, and a game-day premium giveaway. AAA Ohio will also present an “on the road” blog on with Blue Jackets Radio Network color analyst Bill Davidge. Finally, fans that hold AAA memberships will benefit by various “Show Your Card and Save” promotions on select game tickets and retail offers.

Tickets are on sale now for the Blue Jackets four preseason contests and individual tickets for 2007-08 regular season home games go on sale Saturday, September 15 at 10 a.m. at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The Blueline Team Stores at The Chiller Ice Rinks and The Mall at Tuttle Crossing and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.
