COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled defenseman Duvie Westcott from the Syracuse Crunch, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, Blue Jackets General Manager Scott Howson announced February 5.
Westcott, 30, has collected one goal and three assists for four points with 30 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has registered 11-45-56 and 299 penalty minutes in 201 career NHL games, all with Columbus. In eight games with the Crunch, he collected 0-5-5 and 10 penalty minutes.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the Washington Capitals at Nationwide Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage on FSN Ohio beginning with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show at 6:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101.
