Columbus Blue Jackets make First Roster Moves of Training Camp

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have made their first roster moves since opening training camp on September 20 as the club assigned three players Sept. 22, General Manager Scott Howson announced. The current training camp roster consists of 60 players.

The three players assigned to their respective junior clubs were: defenseman Steven Delisle (Gatineau/Quebec Major Junior Hockey League), left wing Matt Calvert (Brandon/Western Hockey League) and defenseman Brent Regner (Vancouver/Western Hockey League). All three players were selected by the Blue Jackets in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Blue Jackets open the 2008 preseason schedule on Tuesday, September 23 when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks. Game time at United Center is set for 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101 beginning at 8 p.m.

Individual game tickets for 2008-09 regular season home games are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, The Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.
