COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that the National Hockey League franchise has extended its corporate partnership with Lexus. Lexus joined the Blue Jackets family of corporate partners last season.
The partnership is highlighted by the presence of a Lexus vehicle near the arena's Front St. entrance during weekend Blue Jackets games and a series of exclusive events for Lexus drivers in the Founders Club of Nationwide Arena. Other elements of the agreement include radio and television broadcast inventory and marketing programs designed to reach the organization's premium seat holders.
The Blue Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Minnesota Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101.
