Columbus Blue Jackets, Labatt USA Celebrate New Multi-Year Corporate Partnership with "1000 Ticket Giveaway"

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and Labatt USA announced October 1 a new multi-year corporate partnership which will designate Labatt as the official Canadian beer of the National Hockey League club.

As a kick-off to the 2009-10 season and the new partnership, the Labatt Blue "1000 Ticket Giveaway," which rewards 500 lucky fans with a pair of ticket to an upcoming Blue Jackets game, commences today at participating grocery and convenience stores in central Ohio. Each specially-marked 12-bottle pack of Labatt Blue and Labatt Blue Light will contain a unique personal identification number (PIN) and instructions to visit the contest Web site,, and complete the online entry form. There will be 500 instant winners randomly selected from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2009. Sweepstakes is open only to legal US residents in the state of Ohio who are 21 years of age or older. The Blue Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Minnesota Wild.
