COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets invite fans to Nationwide Arena on Saturday, August 27 to enjoy family-friendly activities while checking out the best available seat locations for a variety of 2011-12 ticket plans. Admission is free and the event runs from 12-4 p.m. Free parking will be available in the garage attached to Nationwide Arena.
The event will also include appearances by Marc Methot, Ryan Johansen, and Kris Russell, who will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs. Additional activities include the following:
- Street hockey and bounce house on the arena floor for kids
- Photo opportunities in the penalty boxes, and alongside the cannon and Zamboni® ice resurfacing machine
- Food and beverage specials including $1 hot dogs and soft drinks
The Columbus Blue Jackets are offering several new ticket packages for the 2011-12 season that allow fans the opportunity to create their own six-game, quarter-season and half-season plans. All plans are on sale now and all plans include the Opening Night game on Friday, Oct. 7 against the Nashville Predators.
Prices for Six-Game Flex Packs start at just $99, quarter-season packs start at $169, and half-season plans at $319. In addition, flexible payment plans are available including interest-free monthly payment plans for quarter-, half- and full-season plans.
