Columbus Blue Jackets, Huntington Announce Multi-Year Renewal of Corporate Partnership

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Blue Jackets and Huntington announced September 27 the multi-year renewal of the corporate partnership between the National Hockey League club and the financial services provider. Huntington has been affiliated with the Blue Jackets since the 2005-06 season.

In addition to traditional sponsorship elements, including ice-level signage at Nationwide Arena and the Chiller Ice Rinks, Huntington will also continue to bring fans the Huntington Green Seats for Blue Jackets hockey. Starting two hours before every game, 250 seats specially priced at just $10 are available at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office only. The renewed partnership also offers banking customers and hockey fans the following unique experiences and exclusive opportunities:

-Huntington Welcome Seats: As an exclusive benefit offered for every home game during the 2011-12 season, Huntington customers may register to win a pair of free Blue Jackets tickets and a parking pass.
-Free skating sessions at Chiller North: Huntington customers will be invited to a pair of special skating sessions.

The partnership also features Blue Jackets Banking, a retail banking program with a team-branded check card. In addition, fans will notice Huntington ATM locations at Nationwide Arena as well as all OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks. In-game video scoreboard promotion, broadcast inventory and presence on the hockey club’s official website, BlueJackets.com, also complement the partnership.

Single game tickets for Blue Jackets home games starting at $26 are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Fans can also purchase tickets by phone at (800) 745-3000 or online at BlueJackets.com, the official club web site, and www.ticketmaster.com.

Full and partial season ticket plans for the Blue Jackets’ 2011-12 season are on sale now starting at less than $15 per game.
