CBJ, FOX Sports Ohio honored with two Regional Emmy Awards

The Ohio Valley Chapter awarded the Jackets on FOX Sports Ohio Emmys for Sports Programming

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Columbus Blue Jackets telecasts on FOX Sports Ohio received two Emmy Awards at the 55th Annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards presented last weekend. The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which consists of Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and Zanesville, along with parts of Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia, awarded Columbus Blue Jackets on FOX Sports Ohio an Emmy for Sports Event/Game - Live/Unedited for the third consecutive year and an Emmy for Sports - Daily or Weekly Program: Blue Jackets Live.

During the 2018-19 season, the Blue Jackets television on-air team featured play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer, color analyst Jody Shelley, rink side reporter Dave Maetzold with host Brian Giesenschlag and studio analyst Bill Davidge, who retired at the season's end. Game direction and production included FOX Sports Ohio's Tom Farmer, Bob Pennell, Joe Whelan, Brian Filippetti, Matt Sigafoos and Dave Bachman. Blue Jackets Live production included FOX Sports Ohio's Tom Farmer, Bob Pennell, and Travis Williams. This year's award marks the seventh time that Blue Jackets coverage on FOX Sports Ohio has been honored.
