The Columbus Blue Jackets will celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with appearances in several parades beginning with Red, White & Boom!, where new head coach Scott Arniel will serve as grand marshal. The Blue Jackets will also be represented in the downtown parade by the club's most recent first round draft picks – Ryan Johansen (2010) and John Moore (2009) – as well as team broadcasters Bill Davidge and Bob McElligott.
Lastly, to commemorate the upcoming 10th season, a group of fans consisting of the franchise's original and longest-tenured season ticket holders have been invited to walk alongside the Red, White & Boom! parade entry.
Also over the holiday weekend, the entire team of Blue Jackets broadcasters and Stinger will be greeting fans at 12 suburban community parades.
