Columbus Blue Jackets Breakaway Tour Celebrates Ninth Year of Bringing Street Hockey Event Across Ohio

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets are bringing the fun and excitement of the game of hockey to cities across Ohio for the ninth consecutive year with the Blue Jackets Breakaway Tour 2009 presented by IGS Energy and the Blue Jackets Radio Network. The interactive tour featuring street hockey games will visit numerous locations across the state throughout the spring and summer.
The Blue Jackets Radio Network affiliates supporting local Breakaway events are WCLT (Newark), WARF/WKDD (Akron/Canton), WHIZ (Zanesville) and WBEX (Chillicothe).
At each stop, Breakaway attendees can pick up a t-shirt compliments of IGS along with other giveaway items. Fans will also have the opportunity to register to win prizes such as autographed merchandise and a grand prize package consisting of four Time Warner Cable HD Lounge lower bowl seats (including dinner for four) to the Blue Jackets 2009-2010 Opening Night game in October and an autographed Rick Nash 2009 NHL Western Conference All-Star jersey.
