The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Brandon Dubinsky off Injured Reserve, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Dubinsky, 32, missed the past four games with a strained hamstring. He has recorded four goals and six assists for 10 points with 34 penalty minutes in 32 games with the Blue Jackets this season. The 6-2, 205-pound center ranks second on the team in face-off percentage (53.4) and fourth in hits (73).
The Anchorage, Alaska native has posted 151-283-434 with 903 penalty minutes and a +33 plus/minus rating in 794 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and New York Rangers. He has notched 70-151-231, 446 penalty minutes and a +9 plus/minus rating in 401 career games with the Jackets since being acquired in a trade from the Rangers in 2013. He was New York's fourth round pick, 60th overall, in the 2004 NHL Draft.
