COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced October 7 the renewal of the hockey club's corporate partnership with Atlas Butler. The central Ohio heating and cooling company joined the Blue Jackets family of corporate partners last season.
The agreement is highlighted by name entitlement for the unique premium seating area known as the "Atlas Butler Ice Box," a private box with four seats located on ice level directly between the home and visiting team benches. The partnership includes promotion of Atlas Butler's "Red Carpet Experience," a contest where fans may register online for the chance to win a VIP prize that includes seating in the exclusive Atlas Butler Ice Box, round-trip limousine transportation to the game and Blue Jackets gifts.
Additional elements of the marketing partnership include sponsorship of the in-game "noise meter" that measures fan enthusiasm on the video scoreboard as well as radio broadcast inventory and the presence of a concourse kiosk.
Founded in 1921, Atlas Butler is one of central Ohio's premier residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning service companies. The firm employs 105 associates, and serves more than 22,000 residences and businesses annually.
Columbus opens its 10th National Hockey League regular season in Stockholm, Sweden on October 8-9 against the San Jose Sharks as part of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere™ and NHL Face-Off™ before returning to Nationwide Arena for the home opener on Friday, Oct. 15 against defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
