Columbus Blue Jackets Announce 2010 Preseason Schedule

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will play a nine-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to their 10th National Hockey League season, the club announced today. The Blue Jackets’ home schedule features visits from three Eastern Conference opponents – Washington Capitals (September 22), Pittsburgh Penguins (September 24) and Atlanta Thrashers (October 2) – as well as the Minnesota Wild (September 28). The club’s final preseason game will be against a unified team comprised of two Swedish teams – the Malmo Redhawks and Rogle BK – in Malmo, Sweden on Tuesday, October 5.

The Blue Jackets 2010-11 regular season schedule will be released on Tuesday, June 22.
