COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will play an eight-game preseason schedule, including four home games at Nationwide Arena, prior to their ninth National Hockey League season, the club announced July 13. The Blue Jackets' home schedule features a visit by the "Original Six" Boston Bruins on Tuesday, September 22, and a meeting two nights later against the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, September 24. The club also announced that it has re-structured some seating areas in Nationwide Arena to make an additional 1,400 tickets available at the two lowest price points. Up to 1,000 seats are now priced at $18 per game for season tickets, while an additional 400 seats are now $23 per game. In addition, for the first time the lowest-priced seating area will be available for sale in six-game plans for $117, 10-game plans for $190 and 20-game plans for $380.
