COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have added defenseman Nick Holden to the roster on emergency recall from the Springfield Falcons, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, club Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced October 19.
Holden, 23, has collected one goal and six penalty minutes in six games with the Falcons this season. He tallied 6-17-23 and 52 penalty minutes in 68 games with the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus’ AHL affiliate last season. The St. Albert, Alberta native has registered 11-35-46 and 106 penalty minutes in 136 career AHL games. Prior to his professional career, he notched 30-61-91 and 116 penalty minutes in 137 games with the Western Hockey League's Chilliwack Bruins.
The Blue Jackets return to action Wednesday when they host the Anaheim Ducks. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
