COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Duvie Westcott off injured reserve, club General Manager Scott Howson announced December 8. Westcott, who has been sidelined since November 24 and missed the past five games, is available to return to the lineup tonight when the Jackets host the Minnesota Wild.
Westcott, 30, has appeared in 11 games with Columbus this season, collecting a goal and two assists for three points and 20 penalty minutes. He has appeared in 189 games with the Blue Jackets during his NHL career, registering 11-44-55 and 289 penalty minutes.
Tonight's game between the Blue Jackets and Wild at Nationwide Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET. Coverage on FSN Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
