Columbus Blue Jackets Activate Center Kris Beech Off Injured Reserve

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Kris Beech off injured reserve, Blue Jackets General Manager Scott Howson announced November 27. Beech is expected to join the team in time for Thursday's game at Vancouver.

Beech, 26, is scoreless in one game with the Blue Jackets after being recalled on November 11. He has registered five goals and 10 assists for 15 points with 22 penalty minutes in 16 games this season with the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate.


The Blue Jackets return to action Thursday when they visit the Canucks at General Motors Place. Game time is set for 10 p.m. ET. Live coverage on FSN Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 9:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101.
