·         The Blue Jackets are 11-4-0 since January 1, tying them with Anaheim for the second-best record in the NHL in that time (1st – Colorado11-3-1).
·         Columbus finished in the Top 10 in the NHL in both power play (23.1%, 7th) and penalty kill (85.2%, 8th) for the month of January.
·         The Blue Jackets currently rank seventh in the NHL in goals-per-game (2.89) and are on pace to score a franchise-record 237 goals this season (220, 2008-09).
·         Columbus ranks fourth in the NHL in hits (1,661) and T-10th in team faceoff pct. (51.3).
·         The NHL’s Olympic break will run from Feb. 8-25 with teams recommencing practice on Feb. 19. Five Blue Jackets players (Russia – Artem Anisimov, Sergei Bobrovsky, Nikita Nikitin and Fedor Tyutin; Slovakia – Marian Gaborik) will represent their countries at the Olympics, as will Head Coach Todd Richards (Asst. ·         G Sergei Bobrovsky is 11-2-0 with a 2.04 goals-against-average and .934 save-percentage in his last 13 starts.
·         C Derek MacKenzie has registered 4-2-6 and a +5 plus/minus rating in his last six games played.
·         D James Wisniewski currently ranks eighth among NHL defensemen in points-per-game (0.69) and is tied for seventh among all league blueliners in power play points (17).
·         C Ryan Johansen is currently T-18th in the NHL in goals (22). He is the 13th player in franchise history to score 20+ goals in a season and is on pace to become the third Blue Jacket to reach the 30 goal plateau.
·         D Ryan Murray finished tied for first among all rookie NHL defensemen in January scoring (0-10-10). For the season he ranks third among first-year blueliners in blocked shots (85), fifth in TOI/game (20:09) and sixth in total points (19).
For the eighth consecutive year, Columbus Blue Jackets players and their wives, along with local pediatric cancer heroes, will model the latest fashions in a charity style show to raise funds to support the fight against pediatric cancer.  This year’s Black Tie Blue Jackets Style Show, presented by Medical Mutual of Ohio, is set for Tuesday, February 25 and will be staged once again on center ice at Nationwide Arena.  The event will celebrate 11 local cancer patients this year, ranging in age between six and 14 years old. Fans can visit their local Walgreens store or text ‘WALGREENS’ to 90561 to enter the Walgreens 60 Second Countdown.  One contestant will be randomly selected for each remaining home game this season.  The winner receives four tickets to a game and will walk away with $1,000 if a Blue Jackets player scores a goal in the last 60 seconds of the 2nd period.
