Pittsburgh native, Tyler Murovich is currently signed to an AHL contract.

In 2009-10, Murovich played in 54 games with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. He scored 24-28-52 along with a +24 rating and 74 penalty minutes. In six playoff games, he recorded 2-3-5 and eight penalty minutes. He was elected the team captain of the Spirit. He also played in five games with the Syracuse Crunch where he recorded 2-4-6.

In 2008-09, Murovich played in 67 games with Spirit and scored 27-36-63 with 67 penalty minutes. In eight playoff games, he recorded 4-6-10 with eight penalty minutes.

In 2007-08, Murovich played in 68 games with the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL. He scored 19-19-38 with 65 penalty minutes. In three playoff games, he recorded 0-1-1 with seven penalty minutes.

In 2006-07, Murovich played in 41 games with the Chicago Steel of the USHL. He scored 7-6-13 with 82 penalty minutes. In five playoff games, he recorded 1-0-1 with six penalty minutes.

Matt Calvert was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 5th round (127th overall) in 2008.

In 2009-10, Calvert played in 68 games for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL. He scored 47-52-99 along with a +47 and 70 penalty minutes. In 15 playoff games, he recorded 9-7-16 with 15 penalty minutes and led the Wheat Kings to a second place finish in the 2010 Memorial Cup. He was named WHL East Second Team All Star and Memorial Cup All Star Team.

In 2008-09, Calvert played in 58 games for the Brandon and scored 28-39-67 along with a +10 plus/minus rating and 58 penalty minutes. In 12 playoff games, he recorded 9-18-17 along with a +11 and 22 penalty minutes.

In 2007-08, Calvert played in 72 games for the Wheat Kings and scored 24-40-64 along with a +26 rating and 53 penalty minutes. In six playoff games, he recorded 1-2-3 along with a +2 and two penalty minutes.

In 2006-07, Calvert played in 30 games for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Manitoba Midget Hockey League. He scored 28-55-83 with 46 penalty minutes. In 16 playoff games, he recorded 5-13-18 with 16 penalty minutes.

In 2005-06, Calvert played in 38 games for Brandon's MMHL team. He scored 24-30-54 with 48 penalty minutes. In six playoff games, he recorded 3-6-9 with 18 penalty minutes.

He signed a three-year entry level contract with the Blue Jackets in March 2010.
