Brandon Archibald was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 4th round (94th overall) in 2010.

In 2009-10, Archibald played in 68 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL. Archibald scored 5-28-33 while adding 81 penalty minutes. In five playoff games, Archibald scored 1-1-2. Archibald played for Team Cherry at the 2010 CHL Top Prospects Game, picking up an assist on the game-winning goal.

In 2008-09, Archibald played in 61 games for the Greyhounds scoring 0-8-8 with 45 penalty minutes.

Cody Goloubef was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2nd round (37th overall) in 2008.

In 2009-10, Goloubef played in 42 games for the Wisconsin Badgers. He scored 3-11-14 along with a +14 and 64 penalty minutes. He led the Badgers to the NCAA Frozen Four where they finished runner-up to Boston College.

In 2008-09, Goloubef played in 36 games for the Badgers and scored 5-8-13 along with a +6 plus/minus rating and 38 penalty minutes. He also won a World Juniors Gold Medal with Team Canada where he scored 0-1-1 with eight penalty minutes.

In 2007-08, Goloubef played in 40 games for Wisconsin and scored 4-6-10 with 36 penalty minutes.
