Steven Delisle was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 4th round (107th overall) in 2008.
In 2009-10, Delisle played in 39 games with the Gatineau Olympiques and 25 games with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies both of the QMJHL. In total, he scored 5-24-29 along with a +17 rating and 77 penalty minutes. In 11 playoff games with the Huskies, he recorded 1-3-4 with 12 penalty minutes.
