This weekend, the city of Columbus celebrated one of its biggest fundraisers of the year - Pelotonia. Participants biked across the state and raised money for cancer research. In total, Pelotonia had 8,022 riders and raised $15,123,317, as of Monday morning. The Columbus Blue Jackets supply avid bikers every year, and this year was no exception.

The Blue Jackets had 15 total riders and raised $11,493. Donations will continue to be collected through early October. Click here to check out the team page. One hundred percent of every dollar raised goes to cancer research.

We're extremely proud of our riders and also our partners who actively participated in support of this event. For a list of the partners involved, click here.

45 miles in the books, my legs are jello but it was an amazing experience #CBJRides #Pelotonia17
