This week's mailbag was full of questions about the NHL Draft to where to send the Blue Jackets fan mail. I have always been a fan of the Blue Jackets since Jody Shelley has been with you guys. I loved watching him when he played junior hockey with the Halifax Mooseheads. Just out of curiosity I was wondering if he remembers his battle with Russell Smith of Rimouski. I was at that game and I remember it as being one of the best "toe to toes" I ever saw. What was the best fight you ever had? Who was the toughest fighter you have ever fought?
---Pat D., Cape Breton, Nova Scotia,
Shelley remembers the fight fondly, “the fans really got into it and we were trading shot for shot, it was one of my most memorable fights.
“The toughest guy I ever fought, though, was Bob Probert.”
Probert, of the Chicago Blackhawks at the time, squared off with Shelley three times on Jan. 10, 2002, and then a fourth time two days later on Jan. 12.
Where do you send team fan mail?

I know the NHL Entry Draft is going to be in Columbus next year. Can you get tickets to see it? Will they go on sale? If so approximately how much will they cost and when will they go on sale?
--- Jessica A., Columbus, OH
Nationwide Arena will become the center of the hockey universe on June, 23, 2007, as National Hockey League club executives, scouts and coaches will gather on the Nationwide Arena floor for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
This is truly an exciting event for the Blue Jackets, Nationwide Arena and the city of Columbus, and with tickets being FREE to the public, a standing room only crowd is expected. For more information on the Draft and to reserve your FREE tickets, click here.
I was at a game the other day and I heard about some type of holiday CD that the Jackets put together to benefit the Blue Jackets’ foundation. How did that come about? Where can I get a copy?
---Andy S., Gahanna, OH
The idea to record a holiday CD in the name of charity was conceived by Blue Jackets forward Anson Carter who also collaborated with his teammates to compose original lyrics for their hockey-themed rendition of "12 Days of Christmas." In addition to Carter, other players who lent their singing talents to the project include Jason Chimera, Dan Fritsche, Aaron Johnson, Pascal Leclaire, Manny Malhotra, Fredrik Modin, Jody Shelley and Ole-Kristian Tollefsen.
Hockey Holidays from the Blue Jackets is available at The Blueline at Nationwide Arena, at The Blueline's seasonal store at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing and at the Blue Jackets Zones in the Chiller Ice Rinks. CDs may also be purchased during home games at the Blue Jackets Foundation table located on the main concourse near section 110. For more information, click here.
I love the family ties in hockey! I remember last season Dan Fritsche was living with his brother Tom, who plays for Ohio State. How is he doing?
---Elizabeth K., Columbus, OH
Tom Fritsche has yet to play for the Buckeyes this season as he recovers from Severe Ulcerative Colitis. He has begun practicing with the team and may be making a return relatively soon.
Speaking of family ties, Jack Fritsche, Tom and Dan’s uncle, is the head coach for the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets.
You can catch both Fritsches in action on Dec. 31 when Jack coaches the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets at 1 p.m. and then Dan plays at 7 p.m. vs. Chicago.
