CBJ Look to End Three Game Home Ice Losing Streak

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

November 29

The Blue Jackets are back at Nationwide looking to end a couple of negative streaks tonight... three game home ice losing streak as well as two straight defeats including last night's disappointing 5-3 loss to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Red Wings in Detroit.

Steve Mason goes back between the pipes tonight and look for the Blue Jackets coach Ken Hitchcock to re-unite the kid line with Jason Chimera on the left side with Jake Voracek on the right wing and Derrick Brassard in the middle.

What that also means is that R.J. Umberger who has been nothing short of solid over the last 10 games or so moving back to the top line between Kristian Huselius and Rick Nash.

Looking forward to seeing Alexander Ovechkin back in Nationwide Arena. Ovechkin has been on a tear... he is currently riding a 10-game point streak with 11 goals and 11 assists over that stretch.

Again its Youth Hockey Stick night tonight and the doors open early at 5:30!
