The Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation announced today that Blue Jackets Senior Director of Fan Development and Community Programs Andee Cochren has been named the Executive Director of the Foundation.

Cochren joined the Blue Jackets in 2016 as Director of Fan Development and Community Programs, leading initiatives that cultivate a strong youth hockey environment and enrich the central Ohio community through education programs, community partnerships, and the activation of participatory, grassroots programming. In 2021, she was promoted within her position and will continue to serve as the senior director alongside her new role within the Foundation.
"Andee's commitment and dedication to the community have been remarkable in her time with the Blue Jackets. We are fortunate to have her join the Foundation and lead the organization moving forward," said Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation Board Chair Cathy Lyttle.
In addition to her role within the Blue Jackets organization, Cochren is currently an advisory committee member for the National Hockey League's Social Impact, Growth Initiatives, and Legislative Affairs. She also volunteers in the community through programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Columbus Gives Back, and Besa and is currently a board member of the Westerville Parks Foundation and is part of the Leadership Columbus class of 2023.
A Long Island native, Cochren was raised in Las Vegas and is a graduate of the University of Nevada - Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Leisure Services. She also played college hockey at the University of Denver and is a Level 4 certified ice hockey coach with USA Hockey. Prior to joining the Blue Jackets, she spent over a decade in the NHL with the Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers.
