What a great day we had yesterday building the new Krumm Park playground in east Columbus. We had so many awesome volunteers, including Blue Jackets players, coach Todd Richards, former players Jean-Luc Grand Pierre and Andrew Cassels, the Jacket Backers were on hand as well as countless members of the community who were so gracious to spend the day with us and do something fun for the kids.
You'll be able to check out a complete photo gallery later today on BlueJackets.com and see what a unique playground it is...it's totally customized from top to bottom and it's pretty exciting. We're also here this week to look at what the Blue Jackets community has been talking about over the past week - hence the whole "community spotlight" name.
