It's Friday the 13th, but the Jackets luck is starting to turn around!

Hmm... maybe we shouldn't have acknowledged the date. Still, there's no denying the Jackets have figured a few things out this week, coming off of back-to-back road wins in Carolina and Detroit as they get set for a two-game home weekend. It's their first battle of the season against Edmonton, and they'll have an important addition to the lineup ready to help slow down a speedy young Oilers' attack. Between a two-game winning streak, stellar play from Sergei Bobrovsky, and a few healthy faces returning to action, there's a lot to talk about!

The Blue Jackets welcome Ryan Murray back into the lineup tonight for the first time since Feb. 6. Murray is of course a major piece on the blue line for the Jackets' future, but folks over at BS Hockey took some time to map out some of the other questions and plans on the back-end for Columbus in the years to come.

Speaking of the future, The Hockey News released their Future Watch prospects list this week. The Union Blue has their own thoughts of just how the Blue Jackets' prospects stack up, and they offered their analysis this week.

Rene Bourque had a solid first week with the Jackets, scoring his first goal with Columbus on Tuesday in Carolina. Over at the Riverfront Ball, writers wonder if the frequently-traded forward may have finally found his niche once again in the Blue Jacket lineup.

That Carolina win was polished off courtesy of a Ryan Johansen shootout winner, his third such goal of the season. Johansen's patient, stare-down breakaway style is becoming easy to recognize for Jackets fans, and The Cannon broke down the snipers approach to the one-on-one skills competition.

Finally, the Hockey Writers also highlighted some of the must-see games left in the final month of the Blue Jackets schedule. Make sure you're ready to go to battle on these dates!
