Camp Roster Reduced By Two

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have made their second roster moves of training camp today, releasing two players from their tryout contracts, General Manager Scott Howson announced. The current training camp roster consists of 50 players.

The two players released from their tryout contracts were: forward Tim Miller and goaltender Andrew Loverock.

The Blue Jackets continue the 2009 preseason schedule Friday night when the club travels to Minnesota to take on the Wild. Game time from Xcel Energy Center is 8 p.m. ET. Live coverage on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101 begins at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Minnesota Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101.
