*Columbus has posted a 1-3-2 mark in its previous six season-openers, including 1-1-2 at home.
*Columbus opened the 2006-07 season at home with a 3-2 SOL vs. Vancouver after starting the previous two seasons on the road, suffering a 3-2 loss at Washington on Oct. 5, 2005 and a 2-1 setback at Atlanta on Oct. 9, 2003.
