Nov. 25, 2006 – Sergei Fedorov scored a pair of goals and tied the club record with 10 shots on goal to lead the Blue Jackets to a 5-3 win over the Minnesota Wild at Nationwide Arena. Anson Carter, Fredrik Modin and Nikolai Zherdev also scored goals for Columbus, which snapped an eight-game winless streak with the win and went on to post a 6-2-0 record in its next eight outings.

Nov. 17 – COLUMBUS 5, at LOS ANGELES 3: The Blue Jackets handed Los Angeles its first loss in nine home games as Rick Nash scored a pair of goals and Steve Mason made 33 saves. The Jackets led 2-1 late in the second period before the Kings scored twice to lead 3-2 early in the third. Nash's goal at 16:48 of the third was the game-winner and he added an empty net tally. Andrew Murray added 1-1-2 for Columbus… Nov. 19 – COLUMBUS 4, at ANAHEIM 3: Steve Mason made 47 saves, including 24-of-25 shots faced in the third period, to lead the Jackets to the win at Honda Center. Mike Commodore and Chris Clark each tallied 1-1-2 with Commodore’s tally at 16:56 of the second period proving to be the game-winner for Columbus which jumped out to a 1-0 lead, fell behind 2-1 and then scored three-straight in the second period to build a 4-2 lead after two periods… Nov. 20 – COLUMBUS 3, at SAN JOSE 0: Mathieu Garon made 35 saves to record his third shutout of the season and Rick Nash collected his fifth career hat trick as the Blue Jackets completed a three-game sweep of California. Nash scored on the power play 3:31 into the game and pushed the lead to 2-0 late in the second period. He sealed the win with an empty net tally at 19:05 of the third. The Jackets were outshot 35 to 27, but went 1-of-4 on the power play while holding the Sharks to 0-of-5.

With a 12-6-0 record, the Jackets are off to the best start in franchise history… Columbus has posted a 7-1-0 record on the road, which is tied with Boston for the NHL lead… Prior to this year, the quickest the club had hit seven road wins was 2008-09 when they did it in 20 games… The Jackets have scored power play goals in back-to-back games after being shutout in five in a row… The Jackets rank fifth in the NHL in goals-against (2.44 per game) and have climbed to 16th in goals-for (2.89 per game).
NASH NAMED NHL'S FIRST STAR OF THE WEEK, COLLECTS FIFTH CAREER HAT TRICK
LW Rick Nash was named the NHL's First Star of the Week for Nov. 15-21 after tallying 6-0-6 and two game-winning goals in three games last week. He collected his fifth career hat trick in a 3-0 win at San Jose on Nov. 20, extending his point streak to eight games (9-3-12) and his goal-scoring streak to five (8-1-9). His points streak is one shy of the club record he shares (9-6-16 from Dec. 30, 2005-Jan. 8, 2006) with Andrew Cassels (4-9-13 from Nov. 1-17, 2002). His career best goal-scoring streak is six games from Dec. 30, 2005-Jan. 11, 2006 (seven goals). He has taken over the club lead in scoring with 12-4-16 in 17 games.
MASON, GARON COME UP BIG IN CALIFORNIA
G Steve Mason went 2-0-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average and .930 save percentage in two games last week, stopping 80-of-86 shots in games at Los Angeles and Anaheim. He made 33 saves in a 5-3 win vs. the Kings on Nov. 17 and tied his career high with 47 saves in a 4-3 win over the Ducks on Nov. 19. His 47 saves at Anaheim on Nov. 19 was one shy of the club record of 48 shared by Pascal Leclaire (5-4 OTW at Florida on Jan. 14, 2006) and Marc Denis (2-1 OTL vs. San Jose on Feb. 14, 2004). G Mathieu Garon got the start at San Jose on Nov. 20 and made 35 saves to record his third shutout in six starts this season. He improved to 5-1-0 with a 1.08 GAA and .960 SV% in seven games this season. He leads the NHL in GAA, SV% and is tied for third in shutouts.
C Derick Brassard has collected points in 11 of his last 13 games (5-9-14)… D Rostislav Klesla continues to lead the NHL in plus/minus rating at +16 and has also tallied 1-2-3 in his last six games… RW Jakub Voracek has points in six of his last eight games (4-5-9)… LW R.J. JACKETS TO INTRODUCE THIRD JERSEY WEDNESDAY, DEBUT THEM FRIDAY VS. DETROIT
The Blue Jackets invite fans to The Mall at Tuttle Crossing on Wednesday, Nov. 24 when the club's new Third Jersey will be officially unveiled as a special event, presented by Lexus. The unveiling will be carried live on FOX Sports Ohio during the first intermission of the Blue Jackets-NY Islanders game that night. The mall’s center court area will have video screens where fans can watch the telecast live beginning at 7 p.m. The unveiling will take place in the center court at the conclusion of the first period. The Jackets will wear the new jerseys for the first time on Friday when they host their Central Division rivals, the Detroit Red Wings.

Blue Jackets goaltender Steve Mason and defenseman Marc Methot will sign autographs at the FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing on Monday, Nov. 29 from 6-7 p.m. A large crowd is expected so fans will be limited to one autograph per person. Also, fans will be allowed to take photos while the players are signing, however posed photos will not be allowed.

The Blue Jackets are asking fans to join them in supporting The Salvation Army in Central Ohio's efforts to help local families by donating a coat or toy during collections at several home games, starting Friday, Nov. 26. The Blue Jackets and WBNS 10TV are partnering again in support of the 4th annual "Jackets for Jackets" coat drive to help keep central Ohio families warm this winter. NASH, UMBERGER ON NHL ALL-STAR BALLOT
LW Rick Nash and LW R.J. Umberger are among the 100 players who appear on the 2011 NHL All-Star Fan Balloting, which takes place Nov. 15 – Jan. 3 at NHL.com and Facebook.com/NHL. Fans can select up to six players by position -- three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender -- without regard to the conference in which their teams play for in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover, which will be held at RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C. on Sunday, Jan. 30. The three forwards, two defensemen and goaltender with the most votes will be named First NHL All-Stars. The remaining 36 All-Stars will be named by NHL Hockey Operations.
