· The Jackets have killed off 22-of-25 opponent power plays over the last eight games (88.0 pct.) to improve its season penalty killing efficiency to 80.3 pct. (53-of-66). Columbus is tied for second in the NHL with three shorthanded goals.
· Columbus ranks 6th in the NHL, 2nd in the Eastern Conference, in face-off winning percentage at 52.5 pct.

· LW Nick Foligno has chipped in 2-5-7 in his last eight games and is riding a three-game point streak (1-2-3).
· LW R.J. Umberger has tallied 5-4-9 with three game-winning goals in his last 13 games.
· C Brandon Dubinsky has tallied 4-8-12 over the past 12 games and has 6-20-26 in 30 games dating to last season.
· D James Wisniewski leads the Jackets in scoring with 2-14-16 in 20 games and is tied for second among NHL defensemen in assists and third in points.
· C Ryan Johansen has picked up 6-6-12 in his last 15 games to raise his season totals to 6-7-13 in 20 games. He leads the club in goals and ranks third in points.
· C Mark Letestu has picked up an assist in four of the last five games.

· Throughout November, the Columbus Blue Jackets and Blue Jackets Foundation will once again be doing their part to help raise awareness for men’s health this season. Several players will be growing moustaches as part of the ‘Movember’ initiative, with fans being encouraged to donate funds towards the cause by visiting

· John H. McConnell Scholarship – Blue Jackets players in partnership with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation established the John H. McConnell Scholarship Fund in 2008 to honor the life and legacy of the team’s late founder John H. McConnell. Each year, one local high school senior who personifies Mr. Mac’s character and leadership is awarded the $10,000 scholarship. The deadline to apply for this year’s scholarship is Friday, Nov. 29.
