Nov. 20, 2003 – Marc Denis made 25 saves and the Blue Jackets got goals from Rick Nash, Andrew Cassels and Dan Fritsche to beat the Detroit Red Wings, 3-0, before a sold out crowd of 18,136 at Nationwide Arena. The game marked the Jackets’ third win – and first shutout victory – in 18 games vs. the Red Wings.

Nov. 10 – at COLUMBUS 8, ST. LOUIS 1: The Blue Jackets tied a club record for goals, registered the most lopsided win in franchise history and snapped the Blues' seven-game winning streak. Nine Jackets recorded multi-point games led by Chris Clark and Jakub Voracek, who scored a pair of goals, and Derick Brassard, who tallied three assists. Steve Mason made 29 saves against St. Louis, which came into the game leading the NHL in goals-against average (1.42)… Nov. 12 – COLORADO 5, AT COLUMBUS 1: David Jones tallied 2-1-3 and Peter Budaj made 28 saves as the Avalanche won their sixth-straight game vs. Columbus, who had taken 1-0 lead at 4:15 of the first period on an Antoine Vermette goal. The Avs tied the game less than two minutes later and Greg Mauldin's shorthanded goal at 10:57 of the second gave Colorado a 2-1 lead. Steve Mason made 24 saves for the Jackets.

The Blue Jackets, who are 4-1-0 on the road this season, play five of their next seven games away from Nationwide Arena… Columbus set numerous franchise records in last week's 8-1 win over St. Louis on Nov. 10, including: goals scored in a game (tied, Mar. 25, 2010 vs. Chicago/8-3 win and Mar. 7, 2009 at Detroit/8-2 win); largest margin of victory (seven goals); 24 combined points (eight goals, 16 assists); and even-strength goals (eight)... Columbus won its ninth game of the season on Nov. 10 vs. St. Louis in its 14th game, which is the quickest in club history… The Jackets also reached the 18-point mark in its 14th game, tying the club record (8-4-2 in 2007-08)… The Jackets are 6-1-0 when scoring the game’s first goal… The club is 0-4-0 on Friday nights… Columbus ranks third in the NHL in faceoff percentage (54.6 pct.) and is led by C Antoine Vermette who is fifth in the NHL at 60.7 pct.
BRASSARD FALLS ONE GAME SHY OF CLUB RECORD
C Derick Brassard had his career-best eight-game point streak snapped vs. Colorado on Nov. 12. He tallied 5-6-11 during the streak, which began on Oct. 23 at Chicago and was one game shy of matching the club record of nine shared by Rick Nash (9-7-16 from Dec. 30, 2005-Jan. 8, 2006) and Andrew Cassels (4-9-13 from Nov. 1-17, 2002). Brassard leads the club in scoring with 5-7-12 in 15 games, including a team-high three power play goals and two game-winners.
NASH HEATS UP
LW Rick Nash picked up his second multi-point game of the season and extended his point streak to five games with 1-1-2 vs. St. Louis on Nov. 10. He has 3-2-5 during the streak and also has goals in three of the past four games after being held goalless the previous five games. He is five assists shy of tying David Vyborny's club record of 204 and also is 12 games shy of Vyborny's franchise mark of 543 games played. Nash, who missed last Friday's game vs. Colorado due to a lower body injury, is day-to-day.
WILSON AMONG ROOKIE SCORING LEADERS
Rookie C Kyle Wilson picked up the second multi-point game of his NHL career with 1-1-2 on Oct. 28 vs. Edmonton and added 0-2-2 vs. St. Louis on Nov. 10. He has now tallied 4-3-7 in 10 games to rank seventh among NHL rookies in points and third in goals.
C Antoine Vermette has picked up 2-1-3 in his last two games after being shut out in six-straight outings… RW Jakub Voracek has collected 3-5-8 in his last nine games, including his first multi-goal game of the season with two vs. St. Louis on Nov. 10… D Rostislav Klesla is tied for third in the NHL in plus/minus rating at +11… LW R.J. NASH, UMBERGER ON NHL ALL-STAR BALLOT - CLICK HERE TO VOTE
LW Rick Nash and LW R.J. Umberger are among the 100 players who appear on the 2011 NHL All-Star Fan Balloting, which takes place November 15 – January 3 at NHL.com and Facebook.com/NHL. Fans can select up to six players by position -- three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender -- without regard to the conference in which their teams play for in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover, which will be held at RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C. on Sunday, January 30. The three forwards, two defensemen and goaltender with the most votes will be named First NHL All-Stars. The remaining 36 All-Stars will be named by NHL Hockey Operations. The players from that group of 42 will vote for team captains, who will then select from the full pool of players to fill out each team's roster.
NEW THIRD JERSERY UNVEILING SET FOR WEDNESDAY, NOV. 24
The Blue Jackets invite fans to The Mall at Tuttle Crossing on Wednesday, Nov. 24 when the club’s new Third Jersey will be officially unveiled as a special event, presented by Lexus. The unveiling will be carried live on FOX Sports Ohio during the first intermission of the Blue Jackets-NY Islanders game that night. The mall’s center court area will have video screens where fans can watch the telecast live beginning at 7 p.m. The unveiling will take place in the center court at the conclusion of the first period.
