Oshie (has 15-25-40 in 61 games)… G Chris Mason (22-18-8, 2.55 GAA, .912 SV%, 2 SO in 48 games)… Jackets vs. Blues: 21-24-10 (14-8-5 at home, 7-16-5 on the road)… Columbus is 5-10-1 in its last 16 vs. St. Louis, including a 1-4-1 mark in 2008-09… Prior to that stretch, the Jackets had posted a 9-1-4 mark vs. the Blues between Jan. 20, 2006-Nov. 4, 2007… The home team had won the first three meetings this season – Columbus, 5-2 on Nov. 30 and 4-2 on Jan. 18 and St. Louis, 4-1 on Jan. 12 – before the Jackets earned a 3-2 win at Scottrade Center in the last meeting on Jan. 30.

C Antoine Vermette scored his 20th goal of the season vs. Vancouver on Mar. 2, marking the third time in his career he has done so, including 2007-08 when he tallied a career-high 24 with the Ottawa Senators. He has tallied 20-29-49 in 65 games this season and had a five-game points streak (2-4-6) snapped at San Jose on Mar. 6. Since joining the Blue Jackets in March 2009, he has collected 27-35-62 in 82 games.

Second-year RW Jakub Voracek is riding a six-game point streak with 1-7-8 since Feb. 6 vs. Buffalo when he collected a career-high three assists vs. the Sabres. He has registered 9-27-36 in 64 games and ranks fourth on the club in assists and fifth in points. He has matched his goal output and is two assists and points shy of equaling his totals from his rookie season in 2008-09 when he notched 9-29-38 in 80 games.

Last year's NHL rookie of the year G Steve Mason has gone 5-4-1 with a 2.30 goals-against average, .926 save percentage and two shutouts in his last 10 games dating back to Jan. 21. He has stopped 289-of-302 shots during that span and posted back-to-back shutouts vs. Buffalo (28 saves in a 4-0 win) and San Jose (40 saves in 3-0 win) on Feb. 6 and 10. In his last outing, he stopped 42 shots in a 2-1 loss at San Jose on Mar. 6.

The Blue Jackets have gone 10-10-2 since Jan. 7 and are 3-2-2 under interim head coach Claude Noel will all four losses under Noel coming in one-goal games… After being held without a goal in 41-straight games, RW/C Andrew Murray has lit the lamp in his last two games… LW Rick Nash had his seven-game point streak snapped vs. Vancouver on Mar. 2, but has tallied 9-6-15 over his last 16 games… C Derick Brassard, who has missed the first two games following the Olympic break due to an upper body injury, has collected assists in each of his last four games… RW Chris Clark is three goals shy of 100 and three points shy of 200 for his NHL career (97-100-197 in 543 games).

In recognition of St. Patrick's Day, the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation will host a special auction featuring a full team set of authentic, green practice jerseys adorned with a Shamrock patch and Irish-themed nameplates unique to each player (McNash, McUmberger, O’Dorsett, etc…). The players wore the jerseys during pre-game warm-ups prior to the Mar. 2 game vs. Vancouver. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the team’s charitable foundation. Last year’s jersey auction raised more than $17,000 for the cause. Fans may bid on individual practice-worn jerseys at the Blue Jackets Foundation table located behind section 111 during the home games on Thursday vs. Atlanta, Saturday vs. St. Louis and Mar. 15 vs. Edmonton.
