(Northeast Division: 2nd place)… Head Coach: Claude Julien… Boston has gone 2-4-1 since beating the Flyers 2-1 in OT at the Winter Classic on New Year’s Day… The Bruins average 30.3 shots per game (10th-T in NHL) and allow 30.4 shots against (19th in NHL)… Players to Watch: C Patrice Bergeron (leads club with 11-20-31 in 41 games)… RW Blake Wheeler (has 12-16-28 in 47 games)... G Tim Thomas (reigning Vezina Trophy winner is 13-11-6, 2.39 GAA, .921 SV%, 4 SO in 30 games)… Jackets vs. Bruins: 4-4-0 (3-2-0 at home, 1-2-0 on the road)… The last two games have each been decided by 2-0 scores with the home team coming out on top… Columbus earned a 2-0 win at home on Mar. 10, 2009 and Boston earned a 2-0 win at home on Dec. 15, 2007… The Jackets' lone win at Boston was 5-1 on Nov. 10, 2001 in the club’s first visit to TD Garden.

MINNESOTA WILD: Record: 24-22-3, 51 pts. (Northwest Division: 4th place)… Head Coach: Todd Richards (first season)… The Wild have dropped its last two games after a four-game winning streak… Minnesota is averaging 2.67 goals per game, while allowing 2.92 goals-against… Players to Watch: C Mikko Koivu (leads club with 13-31-44, 5 PPG in 49 games)… LW Andrew Brunette (has 13-23-36, 8 PPG in 49 games)… G Niklas Backstrom (21-15-3, 2.70 GAA, .903 SV%, 1 SO in 40 games)… Jackets vs. Wild: 15-14-4 (11-4-1 at home, 4-10-3 on the road)… Nineteen of the 33 all-time meetings have been decided by one goal or less (18 by one goal with one tie)… The Jackets were 1-2-1 vs. Minnesota in 2008-09… Columbus won the first meeting this season, 2-1, in the season-opener at Nationwide Arena on Oct. 3… The Wild earned a 2-1 win at home on Dec. 15 thanks to a Marek Zidlicky goal with :39 left in regulation play.

RW Rick Nash snapped an 11-game goalless streak with two goals – his third multi-goal game of the season – vs. Chicago on Jan. 16. The goals give him 21 on the season, marking the sixth-straight season he has hit the 20-goal mark. He also is one point shy of 400 for his NHL career (215-184-399 in 491 games). The multi-point outing against the Blackhawks was his 11th of the season and his first multi-goal game since Oct. 30 vs. Pittsburgh. He has registered a point in 30-of-50 games this season and his longest streak without a point has been two games. He leads the club in goals (tied for eighth in the NHL), points (tied for 23rd in the NHL), shots (182 – fifth in the NHL) and ice time among forwards (21:24).

LW Kristian Huselius has collected 4-6-10 in the past eight games after being held to 0-1-1 the previous 11 games. He snapped a four-game goalless skid with his 15th of the season and added two assists vs. Chicago on Jan. 16 to record his 10th multi-point game of the season and second three-point game, while registering the 400th point of his NHL career (168-233-401 in 593 games). He has four multi-point outings the past eight games after recording one the previous 17 outings. He ranks tied for second on the club in goals and is third in assists and points. His seven power play goals rank him tied for 13th in the NHL

C Antoine Vermette, who registered his ninth multi-point game of the season with 0-2-2 vs. Chicago on Jan. 16, has a point in six of the past nine games and collected 5-8-13 the past 15 outings… LW R.J. Umberger registered two assists vs. Chicago on Jan. 16 to raise his season total to 17 in 50 games, which is three shy of matching his output in 82 games last season. He has recorded 11-10-21 the past 29 games after collecting 4-6-10 the first 20 games of the season… RW Chris Clark registered his first point as a Blue Jacket with 0-1-1 vs. Chicago on Jan. 16… D Jan Hejda had a team-high five blocked shots and five hits vs. Chicago on Jan. 16 and now ranks 11th in the NHL with 95 blocked shots… The Blue Jackets became the final team in the NHL to suffer a shutout loss this season when they fell 3-0 at Chicago on Jan. 14… Columbus ranks seventh in the NHL on the power play at 19.9 pct. (club record is 19.0 pct. in 2002-03)… The Blue Jackets are averaging 15,252 fans per game through 23 home games this season, which is an increase of 529 more than 2008-09 (14,723 through 23 games).

The Blue Jackets have introduced a new ticket package that will be available for all Tuesday and Thursday night games for the remainder of the season. The package includes an upper bowl ticket and a $10 food and beverage voucher for just $35, which is $19 less than its $54 value. The package is also available in the lower bowl for $49.

The Blue Jackets are giving fans the opportunity to win weekly prizes including game tickets, autographed jerseys and memorabilia each week via the club's multiple digital platforms. This week, one lucky fan will win an autographed R.J. Umberger jersey courtesy of Verizon Wireless. Fans who receive updates via Jackets Alerts from Verizon Wireless will be directed to where they will answer a "This Week in Blue Jackets History" question. A winner will be selected from all those who answer the question correctly.

Pepsi and local retailers are teaming up to give fans the opportunity to get tickets for select Blue Jackets games at Nationwide Arena. Through this Friday, Columbus-area shoppers who purchase four 12-packs of Pepsi or Diet Pepsi in a single transaction can receive two tickets to select home games. Customers should look for the specially-marked packaging on Pepsi & Diet Pepsi at participating central Ohio stores. Fans may redeem the tickets by visiting and completing an informational form to receive an official confirmation, which must be presented at the Nationwide Arena ticket office along with the register receipt showing proof or purchase. Tickets may only be redeemed at the ticket office between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday or 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, while supplies last. There is a limit of four tickets per transaction with only one transaction per game.

Big Lots is offering fans the chance to enjoy exciting NHL action from the comfort of the "Big Lots Big Seats," four recliners positioned to provide a great view of the action, for all remaining Blue Jackets home games at Nationwide Arena.
