The Blue Jackets, who play two of their three games this week at home, have gone 6-2-0 at home under Ken Hitchcock and have scored 34 goals (4.25 per game) in those eight games. The club has scored at least three goals in all eight games and has tallied four or more in six contests.

Columbus’ three games this week are all vs. the Central Division and begins a stretch of six in a row vs. division rivals. The Jackets are 5-8-1 in division play this season, including 3-3-0 in their last six.

Columbus has gone 8-5-2 in its last 15 games vs. Western Conference opponents.

Last Saturday’s 4-3 win at Anaheim marked the second time in club history the Blue Jackets overcame a three-goal deficit to win. Columbus trailed 3-0 with 10:02 left in the third vs. the Ducks. On Mar. 25, 2006, Columbus trailed 3-0 with 12:52 left in the third period at Detroit en route to a 5-4 shootout win. In both games, D Rostislav Klesla scored the Jackets’ first goal.

C Alexander Svitov set a career high with 0-3-3 at Anaheim on Jan. 5, setting up Columbus’ first three goals in the 4-3 comeback win. In his last 19 games, Svitov has registered 3-6-9 with a +5 plus/minus rating after notching 1-1-2 and -9 in his first 21 games of the season.

D Rostislav Klesla registered the second multi-goal game of his career with two at Anaheim on Jan. 5. He also scored twice at St. Louis on Nov. 9.

RW Nikolai Zherdev enters the week having tallied 1-3-4 in his last five games after a stretch of 11 games in which he picked up 0-1-1.

Rookie C Gilbert Brule picked up his second career multi-point game with 1-1-2 at San Jose on Jan. 6. He also tallied 1-1-2 at St. Louis on Dec. 9.

C Manny Malhotra has scored two of his five goals in the past four games and each has been the game-winner (Dec. 31, 3-1 over Chicago; Jan. 5, 4-3 at Anaheim)

RW Anson Carter is two goals shy of 200 in his NHL career (198-213-411 in 645 games).

C Sergei Fedorov enters the week nine points shy of 1,100 in his career (456-635-1,091 in 1,091 games) and has tallied 25-46-71 in 98 games as a Blue Jacket.

D Adam Foote played in his 900th NHL game at Los Angeles on Jan. 3.

LW Fredrik Modin played in his 700th career game at Anaheim on Jan. 5 and is seven goals shy of 200 in his NHL career (193-188-381 in 701 games).
