LW R.J. Umberger had a four-game point streak (3-3-6) snapped at Minnesota on Jan. 23 but has tallied 14-11-25 over the past 33 games to raise his season totals to 18-18-36 in 54 games this season. He picked up his fourth multi-goal game of the season with two tallies against his former teammates at Philadelphia on Jan. 19. His 18 assists are two shy of matching his output in 82 games last season and he is on pace to surpass his career highs for goals (26 in 2008-09) and points (50 in 2007-08 with Philadelphia). He also has registered at least one shot on goal in all but three games this season (Nov. 16 vs. Edmonton, Jan. 8 at Calgary and Jan. 23 at Minnesota).

C Antoine Vermette snapped a five-game goalless skid with his 15th of the season at Boston on Jan. 21 and added 1-1-2 at Minnesota on Jan. 23 to give him 5-6-11 in his last 11 games. With 16-25-41 in 54 games this season, he is already matched his output of a year ago when he combined to score 16-25-41 in 79 games with Ottawa and Columbus. His best offensive season was 2007-08 when he notched 24-29-53 in 81 games with the Senators. Since joining the Blue Jackets last March, he has registered 23-31-54 in 71 games (.760 points per game) compared to 80-87-167 in 359 games with the Senators (.465).

The Blue Jackets have gone 5-5-0 in their last 10 games after posting a 3-14-7 mark in the previous 24 outings… Columbus scored its 41st power play goal in its 53rd game at Boston on Jan. 21 to match the number scored in all of 2008-09… The club has converted 41-of-199 power play chances this season (20.6 pct./7th in the NHL) compared to 41-of-322 (12.7 pct./30th in the NHL) a year ago… The Blue Jackets are averaging 15,221 fans per game through 24 home games this season, which is an increase of 358 more than 2008-09 (14,863 through 24 games)… RW Chris Clark registered his first point as a Blue Jacket with 0-1-1 vs. Chicago on Jan. 16 and added goals vs. St. Louis on Jan. 18 and at Boston on Jan. 21… LW Rick Nash has collected 5-3-8 in his last seven games to raise his season totals to 24-25-49 in 54 games… LW Raffi Torres has tallied 6-3-9 in his last 12 games… LW Kristian Huselius (1-7-8) and D Anton Stralman (0-5-5) each had a four-game point streaks snapped at Minnesota on Jan. 23.

The Ken Hitchcock Show with the Blue Jackets head coach and FOX Sports Ohio play-by-play man Jeff Rimer airs on WBNS Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. This week's show will be broadcast live from R Bar in the Arena District.

Thursday's telecast of the Blue Jackets-Kings game on FOX Sports Ohio HD is another "All Access" game that will give viewers the opportunity to interact with the broadcast team online through "Cover It Live." Fans can visit and click on the "Blue Jackets All Access" graphic to log in to "Cover It Live" and submit questions for the broadcast team. In addition, "Jackets Wired" will give fans an exclusive look behind the bench as assistant coach Gord Murphy will be 'wired for sound,' during the game. Viewers will also go behind the scenes into the Blue Jackets video room for a live look at the video break-down work of video coordinator Dan Singleton. Additional features include: a live camera inside the Blue Jackets dressing room before the game, intermission interviews with Head Coach Ken Hitchcock and backstage looks at Nationwide Arena on game night.

Blue Jackets C Samuel Pahlsson will be meeting fans and signing autographs at The Blue Line Team Store located at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing on Monday, February 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
