SETTING THE STAGE: How do you follow up a casual 10-goal Friday night performance?

John Tortorella acknowledged that he had never been part of a game like the Blue Jackets' 10-0 win over Montreal. It was a Columbus franchise record for goals in a game (the previous high was eight, done three times) and tied the Canadiens' largest margin of defeat in their 106-year history.

But the beauty of hockey is that it's only one game. It counts for two points just like tonight's game in St. Louis does, and the Blue Jackets will have an ornery group of Blues to deal with as they're looking to rebound from a tough loss earlier in the week. The Blue Jackets knew they needed their best in order to beat Montreal (which entered Friday's game without a regulation loss in 10 games), and more of the same is required tonight against a fast, physical Blues team.

Columbus had 15 players on the scoresheet last night and four of them had multi-point games. Sergei Bobrovsky recorded his third shutout of the season, reducing his goals-against average to 1.29 over his last seven games, and amazingly it got lost in the Blue Jackets' 10-goal outburst. No word yet if he will start again tonight in St. Louis, but Tortorella did not rule it out earlier in the week, instead waiting to reveal his goaltender prior to the game.

NOTEWORTHY NEWS: The Blue Jackets rolled with the same lineup on Friday night and it's expected they will do the same against the Blues. Bobrovsky has started all nine games (5-3-1) to this point for Columbus. Alexander Wennberg is tied for the team's scoring lead with captain Nick Foligno after a four-assist outing on Friday night, while Foligno recorded two goals and an assist.

PROJECTED CBJ LINEUP:

Saad - Wennberg - Foligno

Jenner - Dubinsky - Atkinson

Calvert - Karlsson - Anderson

Hartnell - Sedlak - Gagner

Werenski - Jones

Nutivaara - Savard

Murray - Johnson
