Blue Jackets Release D Doug Lynch from Tryout Contract

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have released defenseman Doug Lynch from his tryout contract, General Manager Scott Howson announced. The current training camp roster consists of 36 players.

The Blue Jackets continue the 2009 preseason schedule Saturday night when they visit the Boston Bruins. Game time from TD Garden is 7 p.m. ET. Live coverage on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101 begins at 6:30 p.m. ET. Fans can also listen to the game online at www.BlueJackets.com.

The Jackets open the 2009-10 regular season on Saturday, October 3, against the Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship station WWCD-FM, CD101, as well as online at www.BlueJackets.com.
