COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled right wing Josh Anderson from Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Anderson, 21, has recorded two assists and a +2 plus/minus rating in three games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has added 9-9-18 with 58 penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating in 26 games with Lake Erie. The Burlington, Ontario native has posted 0-3-3 with two penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating in nine career NHL games with Columbus since making his NHL debut last season. The club’s fourth pick, 95th overall, in the 2012 NHL Draft, Anderson has also registered 16-19-35 with 134 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 78 career AHL games with the Monsters and Springfield Falcons.
